Linda Thalheimer is a passionate, independent agent, and national expert in long-term care (LTC) planning. Recruited by GE Financial in 2000, Linda made a natural transition in careers from managing long-term care in nursing homes to helping people afford higher quality options for care. She stayed with GE Financial through their transition to Genworth Financial and left shortly thereafter to focus on the Employer Group LTC insurance market. When LTC insurance underwriting changed, Linda turned her focus to individual sales expanding her own company and later joining with LTCPG.
With her experience as a therapist for individuals receiving care at home as well as in Assisted Living and Nursing facilities and as a trainer for Harvard’s Division on aging, Linda is well versed in the functional needs for long term care and the importance of medical history to the underwriting process. It’s her priority to provide the right long term care options that will allow her clients to make informed, educated decisions.
In 2015, Linda added claims support as a new service to her clients, which has provided even greater insight into the insurance process. Linda’s passion for long term care planning has her teaching regularly on webinars to both prospective clients and financial professionals.
