Melissa M. Steiner is the Senior Director of Insurance with Wealth Management Solutions. Before her current role, she was the Director of Distributor Services for RiverSource Life Insurance Company and RiverSource Distributors. She previously oversaw third-party life insurance distribution teams at Prudential Financial. Melissa holds Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU) and Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC) designations and FINRA Series 24, 7 and 6 registrations.

When asked if she could change how the public perceives extended care planning, Melissa would "like to promote the perspective of LIVING as part of planning."

Celeste Cobb
Celeste Cobb, CLTC
began her career with UNUM and then joined the MetLife Long Term Care Insurance (LTCI) business to build the AARP Long Term Care Insurance direct marketing program. She then led both B2B and B2C marketing in the Association and Affinity segment. In 2016, she started her consulting firm, Insurance Marketing Solutions, LLC, and now serves as its President.

Celeste is passionate about expanding LTC accessibility: "LTC insurance funding options are still very skewed towards upper-income Americans. I'd like to see a commitment to simpler products that are within reach of middle America." She graduated summa cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa from Wheaton College, Norton, MA, with a B.A. in Economics and was a Truman Scholar and Rhodes Scholar finalist. Celeste also completed a year of study at the London School of Economics.

Courtney Crenshaw
Courtney S. Crenshaw, CLTC
, is a Corporate Vice President for New York Life Insurance Company, leading a team of LTC Solutions Consultants in sales growth across the Pacific & West Central United States. She has over 19 years of experience, beginning her career as a financial advisor with Morgan Stanley. She was also a Regional Vice President of LTC Solutions at Genworth Financial and spent several years as an Annuity Wholesaler with Prudential Financial. Courtney is a National LTC Speaker, hosts weekly workshops and is a National LTC Instructor helping financial professionals with LTC approach language, sales concepts and product knowledge.

If she was to change one thing about how the public views extended care planning, Courtney would like to "Emphasize that Insurance is not Long-Term Care Planning.  Insurance is just one of the options to answer the funding question of a Long-Term Care Plan." Courtney attended Southern CT State University in New Haven, CT.

Melissa, Celeste and Courtney join the 2021 Board of Advisors, which include:

  • Marc Glickman, FSA, CLTC, LTCP
  • Kerry Peabody, CLU®, CLTC
  • Shawn Britt, CLTC, CLU
  • Chad Eyrich, CLTC, LTCP
