Mickey Batsell, CLU, CASL, CLTC, MBA, FLMI, CSA

Mickey Batsell is an experienced industry professional specializing in long-term care, retirement planning, and surrounding issues.

With over 40 years of professional and personal family experiences, Mickey has an in-depth understanding of the challenges his clients face. As a protector of people's independence and dignity, he currently represents industry-leading, financially sound companies and assists families, groups, and associations throughout the United States.

Mickey has a bachelor's degree in Marketing and an MBA in Accounting. He is a Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU), a Chartered Advisor for Senior Living (CASL), Certified in Long-Term Care (CLTC), a Fellow of Life Management Institute (FLMI) and a Certified Senior Advisor (CSA). Mickey takes an active role in his industry, community, and church and also served on the national boards of directors for the American Association for Long-Term Care Insurance, Society of Financial Services Professionals (SFSP) and the Alliance of Financial Management Professionals. He is a member of the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors and a past President of the National Insurance Marketing Executives (NIME) and serves on the Society of Certified Senior Advisors Editorial Board.

Mickey has appeared as a regular radio talk show guest presenting information and fielding questions on matters relating to the industry. He was the top Long-Term Care producer in Texas in 2005 and 2007 and has consistently ranked in the top one hundred in the country. He is a retired USAFR Lt. Colonel, who served in the USAF Special Operations.

Mickey and Nancy have four children, eleven grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren. If he isn't spending time with family, you can find him in his garden in the spring. He is a retired Texas high school football official.
