Betty Doll promises to make the discussion of long term care planning “easy, enlightening, and enjoyable” whether teaching other professionals or working with prospective clients.
Betty is the Principal of Doll & Associates Long-Term Care Insurance Services in beautiful Asheville, North Carolina. Since 1998, she has specialized exclusively in long term care insurance sales and training. She has a Master of Business Administration degree from Jacksonville University and a Bachelor of Science degree in Occupational Therapy from Western Michigan University.
Formerly a regional manager for the rehabilitation division of a national nursing home corporation, Betty became involved in Long-Term Care Insurance largely as a result of seeing so many individuals receiving care who had no idea of the impact it would have on their families and on their finances.
Betty is committed to providing quality education on topics related to long term care. She consistently receives high marks for her ability to deliver professional training and she brings in her personal experiences to enhance the information shared. She has spoken at numerous regional and national long-term care conferences including the 2012 Million Dollar Round Table (MDRT) meeting in Anaheim. She is a frequent provider of continuing education courses for other professional groups including CPA associations and State Bar Associations.
Betty has been an instructor for the Certified in Long-Term Care designation course since 2000 and was instrumental in the development and delivery of LTC Partnership training through CLTC. She is also featured with Harley Gordon on the CLTC e-learning online course.
In additional to numerous local publications, Betty has been published in the Journal of Financial Planning and the Senior Market Advisor and has been quoted in the Wall Street Journal and Kiplinger’s magazine.
Betty is active in her community and has built her LTC business through developing strong relationships with other professionals. She is active in Rotary International and serves on the Boards of several local non-profit organizations. She is also active in NAHU, NAIFA, and the Estate Planning Council.
